This evil thing hit Bill's hand that he had hanging out the window going down the road - then it "bee-lined" straight down the back of his shirt and stung him.

Day 11 - Last Dive

75 degrees is a little chilly - but I dived in for one last summer swim. Supposed to rain the rest of the week and not get into the 80s. Days are getting shorter too. Guess it's time to close it down.

Day 8 - Donation

Donations come in all forms. Today I gave this old Agriculture Report book I've had to the Stevens Memorial Museum in Salem. The date was 1880, and the previous owner had used it as a scrapbook until about 1910 of various stuff in Washington County. Cool Stuff!

Not many warm days left - so I am taking advantage of any time I do have in the day to be in the pool!

Day 5 - Around the Lake

This was taken with my cell phone while I was walking around the lake today. From the trail these roots peeking out of the watery jungle appeared to be a gnome's magical village. With the turtles darting back into the water, squirrels jetting up and down the tree, and birds calling all around, there was life all around!

Today I joined the "clan" to celebrate my "nephew's" 17th birthday. There was 13 of us all together! And Ryan's buffet provided a great place to eat and be merry!

365 Days Challenge

I recently seen one of my facebook friends take up this photo challenge where she posts a picture that represents her day that day...for 365 days! Well, I hope I'm up for it that long, but it will certainly make me practice. Here's my day 1.

This little guy followed me along the walkway making sure I was pulling the weeds and not fancy grass & flowers.
